Description

Learner Profile:

This 5-day Green Belt training course is recommended from those who wish to increase their knowledge base in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This will enable learners to be able to manage larger improvement projects and delegate project work to Yellow Belts within a project team. Green belt practitioners would lead projects which are intended to improve efficiency, reduce or eliminate wasteful practices and deliver cost savings with application in industrial manufacturing environments/processes.

Learner Prerequisite:

The learner should ideally have completed the Six Sigma Yellow Belt training course.

Learning outcomes:

At the end of the course the learners will be able to:

  • Understand the concepts, tools, and principles of Lean Six Sigma from a practical perspective.
  • Be familiar with the key tools needed to solve practical business problems.
  • Understand how Lean Six Sigma can be integrated into a company's management systems.
  • Identify some initial criteria and guidelines for selecting, reviewing, and evaluating Lean Six Sigma green belt projects.
  • Understand how these programmes can be applied to deliver an effective continuous improvement programme to reduce waste and variation in business.
