CNC Milling Course-Controller - Advanced 4 Axis Milling Course

This is an advanced Fanuc milling course designed for people with some knowledge and experience of the machining process and CNC controls but who want to acquire the necessary skills to program 4-axis mills. Designed for operators/programmers already competent in understanding the standard ISO codes for Milling but need to upskill and use the facility of the 4th Axis on a Vertical (Horizontal) Milling Machine, and benefit from the easy to use Fanuc NC Guide Conversational system available.

Description

Learner Profile:

This course is designed for operators/programmers already competent in understanding the standard ISO codes for CNC Milling and require upskilling and to use the facility of the 4th Axis on a mill. The ideal candidates are already proficient in CNC late operation and should have a good foundation in ISO G – codes.

  5. G90 & G91 Incremental Values, G94 & G95 Feed Rate Type
  6. Drilling Cycles & Using M98 Sub Routines
  7. Data Input for Indexing & Resetting Datums
  8. Use of Local Co-Ordinates G52
  9. Making Programs using the learned methods.
  10. Introduction to Milling on Different Faces.

Day 2 Module 2 Fanuc Milling ISO Code


  1. Examples of Face Milling with Rule & Regulations Explained.
  2. G7.1 (G107) Using Cylindrical Interpolation.
  3. Plane Selection G17, G18 & G19, Using I, J & K Radius Values
  4. Thread Milling and Helical Interpolation.
  5. Introduction to Additional 48 Work Offsets G54.1 = P1~P48.
  6. Milling in X & Y Using G41 & G42 Cutter Compensation.
  7. Making Examples of Using the above.
  8. Explanation of Multi Pallet Use and how to Machine Continuously.

  1. Fixed Forms, Tool Data Base for Tools.
  2. Billet Size, Start Menu, Cycles & End Menus.
  3. Hole Machining Cycles on Square & Cylindrical Blanks.
  4. Pocket Machining on Square & Cylindrical Blanks.
  5. Contouring on Square & Cylindrical Blanks.
  6. Grooves on Square & Cylindrical Blanks.
  7. Engraving on Square & Cylindrical Blanks.
  8. Back Up Data for Home & Work use
