This course is designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to select and work confidently with a wide range of advanced FDM materials.

Description

Learner Profile:

Individuals should possess a good understanding of FDM 3D printing and want to take their knowledge to the next level (3+ months experience). Be an active user of a 3D printer.

What you will get:

  • Understand the different types of advanced materials available for FDM printing, including GF, CF and 316L
  • Understand the advantages and considerations that need to be taken when designing and setting up a print for the various types of materials and why
  • Understand the debinding and sintering process associated with 316L
  • Set up a printer for advanced materials and have the ability to recognise the advantages and disadvantages of materials
