The aim of this programme is to provide the learner with an in-depth overview of the fundamentals of 3D Construction Printing (3DCP) technology, technical information on the materials used and technological processes employed to ensure successful construction printing operations. Current applications and business opportunities will be presented, with financial models discussed. The live demonstration will give a practical insight into the processes and daily operations of the 3DCP.

The course consists of two parts. The first will involve the technical information relevant to the materials and technical processes involved to ensure successful construction printing operations. The second part is a practical demonstration of the technology in a 3DCP facility to give a real-world overview of the 3DCP process for the learner.
Day 1: Theory-based classroom session:
This course is 2 days long;
Day one is classroom-based on-site at the AMTCE.
Day two takes place at an external AMTCE workshop, with a live 3D construction printing demonstration.

Learners can progress to other AMTCE Advanced Construction Technology courses; Revit Architecture (AMC22229), AutoCAD Civil 3D (AMC22226), InfoDrainage (AMC22228) or BIM & Information Management Fundamentals incorporating ISO 19650 (AMC22227).
